Drawn from the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts’ collection, this exhibition includes 32 works by American Modernists Stuart Davis, Marsden Hartley, John Marin, Charles Sheeler, Max Weber and other American modernists of the early 20th century.  These American artists sought new ways to picture the rapidly changing times of their era, particularly between World War I and II, in response to the artistic developments in Europe.
