January 18: Whimsical Wooden Snowman
Build a freestanding snowman from wood then bring him to life with paint and hand-made accessories!
February 22: Faux Stained Glass Windows
Mimic the beauty of a stained glass using with paint! We'll sponge on the color and use diy puffy paint to outline the sections.
March 14: Cherry Blossom Painting
Celebrate the coming of spring with flowering cherry trees! We'll start with brushes to form the trunk, use straws to blow out branches and add tissue paper flowers for a textured effect!
Acting
Acting for Kids

It’s time to get dramatic! This class is designed to help children develop acting skills and build self-confidence in a fun and relaxed environment. Basic theme terms and etiquette will be taught. Each class will be a combination of lecture/discussion and acting activities/games (no singing or dancing). Students are to bring notebooks or journals and pencils. A short skit will be performed at the end of the final class. Capacity: 16. Minimum: 4 Students.

Art Through the Ages

Students will find inspiration for their creativity by examining great art movements in history from the Renaissance (Leonardo DaVinci) to Modern Art (Sonia Delaunay). Students will also get an opportunity to develop their skills in a variety of art mediums from painting and drawing to oil pastels and collage. All supplies are included. Capacity: 15 students. Built for Your Body: Experimental and Wearable Ceramics

This ceramic workshop will focus on both functional and non-functional forms that relate to the human body. We will use hand building techniques and a variety of ceramics surfaces to finish the forms. Collaborative and individual exercises will embrace temporary, silly and experimental approaches to building with clay. All materials included. Capacity: 15 students. Minimum: 5 students.

Whether you want to draw animals, portraits or superheroes - or experiment with charcoal, colored pencils or watercolors - this course is for you! Learning Music Through Play: The Cello

Preschoolers will discover the basic elements of music through songs, movement and stories on the cello with celebrated Suzuki-method instructor, Beth Goldstein McKee. Instruction includes beginning position games using a small cello in class. By the end of 4 weeks, parent and your child will have a foundation of simple songs and activities to continue at home. Great for families considering beginning cello lessons for their child! Capacity: 8 students. Minimum: 2 students.
Private Cello Lessons

Painting
Winter Landscape Painting

Paint-a-long with Miss Paige to learn the ins and outs of acrylic painting! At the end of class, you’ll walk out with a painting of a snow winter scene. All materials, including paints, brushes, and canvas board are provided. Capacity: 10 students. Minimum: 5 students.

Video Production
Ages 13-18

Thursdays, 6-8 pm

Even if you have little to no knowledge of video production, you can learn how to create a film! Explore the four stages of creating a film - developmental, pre-production, production, and post production - while learning how to operate a camera and more! Additional studio use may be available outside of class. Bring a notebook and flash drive to save your work! Capacity: 12. Minimum: 6.
Claymation
Ages 9-12
Instructor: Tom Stoops
8 Weeks: January 11 – February 29
Saturdays, 10 - 11:30 am

Claymation is essentially stop motion animation using clay to create your characters and develop your storyline. Professional filmmaker, Tom Stoops, will lead students through the process of developing a character and storyline, the use of green screens, cameras, and editing. At the end of the course, the students will have a finished ‘short’ to share! Capacity: 12. Minimum: 6.
